Sauti Sol, the award-winning Kenyan band famous for their hit song “Sura Yako,” has been announced as the Kenyan artists’ headline act for the upcoming Stanbic Yetu Festival. The festival will take place on Saturday, June 10th, 2023, at the Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi, and is a collaboration between Stanbic Bank and Radio Africa Group.
Sauti Sol will perform a selection of music from their five albums and one EP, which have been well-received locally and globally. The band was also recognized in 2021 by the Recording Academy for their contribution to Burna Boy’s Grammy-winning album, Twice as Tall.

The event will occur at Uhuru Gardens, a sprawling 68-acre piece of land in Lang’ata, 15 minutes from Nairobi city centre. It is a National Monument and Museum under the management of the Kenya Defence Forces, promising adequate and high-level security for attendees.
