Today, Kenya recorded another high of 603 positive cases from a sample size of 5,724 tested in the last 24 hours.
The country now has 13,353 confirmed positive cases, while our cumulative sample tested has risen to 243,887.
Nairobi is leading with 441 cases, Kiambu (44), Kajiado (29), Mombasa (22), Nakuru (17), Kilifi (10), Busia (7), Machakos (6), Kisii (6), Makueni (5), Muranga (3), Nyeri (2), Bungoma (2), Kakamega (1), Kericho (1), Kisumu (1), Kwale (1), Lamu (1), Narok (1), Tharaka Nithi (1), Garissa (1) & Uasin Gishu (1).
On a positive note, 682 patients have recovered from the disease. From this figure, 562 have been under home-based care, while 120 have been discharged from various hospitals, bringing the total number of recoveries so far to 5,122.
