Kenya’s COVID-19 Update, Nairobi and Mombasa Worst Hit

Today, Kenya reported 418 new positive cases out of 2,474 samples tested in the past 24 hours. Overall, 246,361 samples tested so far.

The country has 13,771 total confirmed cases whilst 5,616 patients have been discharged and recovered

There were 494 recoveries today, but, unfortunately, there were 4 fatalities today. In all, 238 have succumbed to the disease.

Nairobi and Mombasa Counties continue to record the highest attack rates of COVID-19, at 176.1 and 151.9 per 100,000 population, respectively, when compared to 28.1 per 100,000 for the rest of the country.
