NTSA Announces Resumption of Inspection Services

The National Transport and Safety Authority-Kenya has this evening announced the resumption of inspections services after engaging several stakeholders and putting in place mitigation measures against COVID-19 as directed by the National Emergency and Response Committee .

NTSA has said that Phase 1 has been completed whereby a number of Taxis, Pickups and Vans that had books earlier were inspected.

Phase II will include all public service vehicles and Heavy Commercial Vehicles shall undergo inspection.

NTSA has further stated that the bookings that were set to expire on 30th May 2020 have been adjusted to expire on 31st July 2020.

Motor vehicle owners who are yet to book for inspection are required to immediately book through TIMS.
