Photos show drought in northern Kenya is wiping out giraffes

Must Read

In northern Kenya, the ribs of dead wildlife and livestock litter the area as flies patch on carcases.

“We’ve lost 11 of our gentle giants #Giraffe this week due to the worsening drought in Wajir, North,” posted Sabuli Wildlife Conservancy in a Twitter post on Nov 11, 2021, at
4:59 PM.

The conservancy said the livelihood of northern Kenya locals is slowly being wiped out as anticipated rains fail due to Climate Change.
