RUBiS Energy Kenya today officially launched RUBiS Kenol Service Station, a flagship investment positioned at the heart of the rapidly expanding Kenol–Sagana–Marua corridor, now one of Kenya’s most strategic gateways to the Mount Kenya Region and beyond.

Set in Murang’a County, RUBiS Kenol embodies RUBiS Energy Kenya’s ambition to anchor itself in fast-growing commercial hubs that are shaping the country’s future economic map. The transformation of the station comes at a time when major infrastructure upgrades along the Trans-Africa Highway are accelerating trade flows, increasing mobility, and unlocking new opportunities for local communities and businesses.

“RUBiS Kenol is a bold reflection of our ambition to shape the future of energy and convenience in Kenya. As Kenol rises into a major economic gateway, we are investing ahead of the curve – delivering cleaner fuels, modern services, and trusted partners that elevate how communities live, work, and move. This station embodies our long-term belief in the region’s potential,” said Olivier Sabrié, CEO of RUBiS Energie East Africa and Group Managing Director of RUBiS Energy Kenya,

RUBiS Kenol serves as a fully integrated, customer-focused hub, offering a diverse ecosystem of partners including Carrefour, Simbisa Brands Kenya, Nairobi Java House, Optica, PharmaPlus, Bata, Umoja Shoe, AutoXpress Limited, Entrecorte Kisima Ltd, and a Safaricom Dealership – creating a one-stop destination for retail, food, health, lifestyle, automotive care, and essential services. The station also features world-class washroom facilities, reflecting RUBiS Energy Kenya’s commitment to raising service standards across its network by offering clean, safe, and modern amenities for travellers, families, and long-distance motorists alike.

This expanded network of services directly benefits the growing Kenol community, located more than 50km from Nairobi’s CBD, while also supporting local employment and stimulating new business activity along the corridor. The station’s modern design, high-quality fuel offerings, and enhanced amenities position it as a regional anchor point for travellers, transporters, and enterprises moving goods between Nairobi, Central Kenya, and the northern economic frontier. The launch of RUBiS Kenol forms part of RUBiS Energy Kenya’s broader strategy to invest confidently and consistently in the towns and cities powering Kenya’s next wave of growth
