The multi-agency security team in Marsabit has made great strides in accomplishing its objective of restoring security and lasting peace in the area.
According to the National Police Service, the security team recovered thirty-nine cattle that had been reported to have strayed from their grazing fields in Matalana Area.
The successful recovery was a result of close collaboration between the multi-agency team and the elders from Shurr Location.
“We commend all the communities for their immense support and urge them to embrace peaceful initiatives in solving conflicts and continue sharing information through the Community Policing and nyumba Kumi mechanisms for the enhancement of security in the area,” NPS said.
