Six sacks and 53 polythene bags packages of drugs suspected to be bhang have been confiscated after an intelligence-led operation was conducted in Kiganjo, Kiambu County.
In the dusk operation, the police found the haul of bhang with an estimated street value of Ksh 500,000.
According to the police, the two-bedroomed house is linked to a suspect identified as Samuel alias Sammy Boy of the Ucekeine Mundoro area.
The suspect managed to escape police custody and is currently being sought to answer for appropriate charges.
The National Police Service say they remain focused in the war against drug and substance abuse and urges the public to support the gains through sensitization campaigns and sharing of prompt information.
