Stanbic Bank Kenya has expanded access to tailored personal banking solutions for police officers, deepening its partnership with the National Police Service and affirming its commitment to supporting the people and institutions that serve communities across Kenya.

Through its Personal Banking arm, the bank is offering police officers a tailored package that includes competitive unsecured personal loans and salary advances, designed to support both planned and urgent financial needs in a practical and accessible way.

“Police officers serve under demanding conditions and make important sacrifices to protect our communities. As a bank, we recognise the important role they play in safeguarding society, and we are committed to walking alongside them with practical financial solutions that support their wellbeing throughout their careers, from saving and investing to buying homes, educating their children, protecting their income and preparing for retirement,” said Abraham Ongenge, Acting Chief Executive, Stanbic Bank Kenya.

The bank announced the support during a groundbreaking ceremony at the National Police Service Training Campus in Utawala, where it contributed towards the construction of a guard house to help improve security and access control at the training campus. During the ceremony, the bank also committed to support the kitting of the campus volleyball team, recognising the role of sport in building teamwork, discipline, resilience and wellbeing among officers and recruits.

“Stanbic has a strong history of supporting businesses, institutions and major national projects. We also believe that progress is built in communities, through people who serve, lead, teach, build and create every day. We want to bring ourstrength and expertise closer to more Kenyans, including police officers, teachers, entrepreneurs and young professionals,” said Ongenge.

Stanbic Bank Kenya said it will continue working with the National Police Service to better understand and serve the needs of officers, while providing banking solutions that are relevant, accessible and sustainable for the communities they protect and support.
