John Njuguna Wanjiku is the official United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate for Kiambaa constituency by-elections in Kiambu County set for July 15 2021.
He is 35 years old.
Njuguna Wanjiku will run for the seat using a UDA ticket, a political party associated with Kenya’s Deputy President, William Samuei Ruto.
“This is a good ticket. It is one of the best options in the market today for any politician,” said UDA party secretary general Veronica Maina.
The humble son of a singlemother is confident he will win the seat. He said, “This is our chance to make our statement that Kiambaa is a hustler-nation stronghold.”
While supporting Njuguna Wanjiku’s candidature, Meru Senator Mithika Linturi said,”UDA believes that power belongs to the people”
The UDA party ideology is to give people the opportunity to make a decision on whom they want to delegate their power.
Other respected leaders supporting the aspirant include lawmakers Kimani Ichung’wa from Kikuyu and Rigathi Gachagua from Mathira.
