The leaders of the One Kenya Coalition Party, known as Azimio la Umoja, are resolute in their stance and have announced that their anti-government demonstrations will proceed as planned. Led by prominent figures like Raila Odinga and Martha Karua, they recently held a press briefing to declare their commitment to this cause.

During the press briefing, Narc Kenya Party leader, Martha Karua, revealed that the demonstrations would now take place at three different venues in Nairobi. These sites were Joseph Kang’ethe Grounds in Kibra, the historically significant Kamukunji, and the Jaracaranda Grounds. Karua urged the public to join them in the demonstrations at these convergence points on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, sending a message of unity: “Aluta Continua.”

In addition to the physical protests, Azimio la Umoja encouraged Kenyans to continue supporting their online campaign by adding their signatures to the petition aimed at removing President William Ruto from office. Martha Karua emphasized the importance of amplifying their voices and called on citizens to demonstrate and protest in their own local areas.

Furthermore, Raila Odinga, the charismatic leader of the coalition, paid tribute to those who had lost their lives during previous demonstrations, considering them as courageous soldiers fighting for a just cause. He also referred to those who were injured and arrested during these events as political prisoners, praising their dedication to the movement. Despite the violence they faced, Raila Odinga expressed unwavering optimism, stating that Kenyans had never lost a fight against the government.

The One Kenya Coalition leaders’ determination and call to action signal a continued struggle against what they perceive as a dictatorial regime. They seek to reclaim their country, fueled by a sense of unity and resolve that they will eventually overcome the challenges in their path.
