The government has set aside an extra 2 billion shillings to tackle famine in the Country. Speaking at State House Nairobi where he was installed as the patron of the Kenya Red Cross Society, President William Ruto appealed to the organization to incorporate climate change in its scope of activities and mobilize communities on the government’s tree planting program.
