“We are ecstatic to be bringing the Museum of Illusions to Nairobi, offering a new and unique experience to all consumers and providing a platform for edutainment. Said Brandy Achar Museum Manager. We welcome all to come immerse themselves in a world that will challenge their minds and provide a playground for their senses. We aim to inspire our visitors to see the world in new ways and provide a platform for learning and exploration.”

The Museum of Illusions, known for its innovative visual and educational displays, continues to expand its global footprint, with 15 million visitors.  As the only city with a national park, Nairobi provides a unique backdrop for the museum’s immersive and sensory-stimulating exhibits, which appeal to both locals and tourists of all ages.

To celebrate Kenya’s artistry and culture, MOI has collaborated with renowned local creatives to create bespoke exhibits:

  • Moha, the Father of Matatu Culture, brings the Reversed Room, inspired by Nairobi’s iconic matatus.
  • Lulu Kitololo who has a theme of contemporary Kenyan female character reinterpreting the Kenyan traditional jewelry and fabrics.
  • Brian Omolo, unveiling a mural inspired by Nairobi’s urban culture.

These partnerships embody MOI’s commitment to celebrating and promoting Kenyan talent while delivering an immersive, culturally resonant experience.

The Museum of Illusions Nairobi will also be and educational and cultural hub in Kenya, that will offer substantial benefits to the country, schools as well as government by providing a platform for learning and critical thinking amongst students, aligning with the country’s educational ambitions. It will also boost local tourism, fostering economic growth in the country as well as creating numerous job opportunities both directly and indirectly making a significant impact to Kenya’s social and econimic development.
