Zoho Corporation has announced a significant update to Zoho One, its all in one business operating system, introducing a redesigned interface, improved security features, and stronger artificial intelligence integration across more than 50 applications. The company says the latest enhancements aim to provide a more connected, context driven experience that enables organisations to collaborate more efficiently and make faster decisions.
Veerakumar Natarajan, Country Head for Zoho Kenya, said the upgrade reflects how modern businesses now prefer unified systems rather than isolated applications. He noted, “The Zoho One update reflects how work has evolved from using individual applications to operating within a unified platform. Zoho One customers are not simply licensing apps; they are choosing a solution that allows Zoho to handle the technology while they focus on productivity. The enhancements announced today deliver a cohesive experience built on unified integrations, context, and data.”
Since launching in 2017, Zoho One has grown to serve more than seventy five thousand organisations globally, with users deploying an average of twenty two applications within the suite. Zoho states that the platform’s focus on privacy, integrated architecture, and a consolidated technology stack allows businesses to streamline operations with greater consistency and reliability.
New interface puts context at the centre
The update introduces a fully reimagined user experience designed to remove barriers between tools. A new layout known as Spaces groups applications by purpose, for example personal, organisational, or departmental, allowing users to complete tasks without having to move repeatedly between different interfaces. A universal search function now spans the entire Zoho ecosystem and can also trigger workflows directly.
An improved Action Panel gives employees a complete snapshot of upcoming meetings, unread messages, pending tasks, and alerts, regardless of which application they are currently using. The refreshed Dashboard brings information from Zoho and supported external services into a single, customisable view with ready made or personalised widgets.
Zoho has also launched Vani, a new visual collaboration tool that supports brainstorming and planning through mind maps, digital whiteboards, diagrams, and integrated video calling.
Security strengthened through native integrations
The company has expanded Zoho One’s native integrations with both internal and third party tools, reducing the number of external access points and supporting faster issue detection. Zoho Directory is now embedded within the system, giving administrators a central place to manage user access and identity.
Administrators also gain a comprehensive integrations panel to monitor and configure all system connections in one place. Foundational integrations now allow application portals, whether Zoho or third party, to be nested within a unified interface. Routine setup tasks such as authentication and domain verification can be completed more easily.
A new Smart Offboarding capability automates employee transition tasks, including device data management, reassignment of department responsibilities, and access rights control, helping organisations maintain security standards during staff exits.
Zia AI becomes system wide intelligence layer
Zia, Zoho’s artificial intelligence assistant, now operates throughout the Zoho One environment. The system can compile information from Zoho applications and external platforms such as Google Workspace and present it as clear recommendations and insights to support faster decision making.
Zia Hubs, the intelligent document management feature, now includes a dedicated area where meeting recordings, contracts, and key business files are automatically organised. Zia Search provides a single location to surface information across the entire environment, without requiring users to navigate multiple applications.
Ask Zia, available through the bottom toolbar, enables employees to query schedules, messages, documents, tasks, and recent interactions using prompt based searches, helping them access key information more quickly.
Zoho says the new Zoho One platform is available to existing users immediately, with rollout expected to continue across markets worldwide.
