At the same time, KCB will leverage the competition as a platform to champion environmental conservation and educate students and communities on sustainable practices that can help conserve the environment, reduce carbon emissions, and create healthier learning environments.

Speaking during the cheque handover ceremony in Nairobi, KCB Group Chief Risk Officer, Faith Basiye said: “The sponsorship underscores KCB’s long-standing commitment to developing sports as a catalyst for nurturing future champions while creating opportunities for them to showcase their talent, build lifelong values and pursue excellence. As a Bank, we are proud to be part of this rich legacy.”

From a participation perspective, the support will be directed towards the national finals, which will bring together top schools from all eight regions across the country. The competitions will kick off in the Rift Valley Region at Narok High School from July 6–11, 2026, followed by the Nyanza Region at Homa Bay High School and the Nairobi Region at Jamhuri High School from July 7–11, 2026.

The regional competitions will conclude with the North Eastern Region finals in Tabaka, Mandera, scheduled for July 20–22, 2026.

This will culminate in the National Finals, which will be held at the MPESA Academy on July 28 – August 1, 2026, marking the end of the competitive two-month-long event.
