Galaxy S25 FE vs Galaxy S26 FE

Samsung’s Fan Edition lineup has always hit that sweet spot of flagship vibes without the eye-watering price tag, but comparing the Galaxy S25 FE to the brand-new Galaxy S26 FE reveals a clear step forward. While last year’s S25 FE rocked a low-key matte aesthetic, the S26 FE steps into the spotlight with a glossy finish and fresh, statement-making colorways headlined by Pistachio and Blueberry.  Both devices feature premium Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus®+ durability and an IP68 rating against water and dust, but the S26 FE feels noticeably punchier and more vibrant in the hand.

Under the hood is where the generational leap really makes itself felt. The Galaxy S25 FE relied on the capable 4nm Exynos 2400 chip, which handled daily social scrolling and casual gaming with ease.  The S26 FE levels up to the cutting-edge 3nm Exynos 2500 engine, delivering a massive 30% boost in CPU and GPU performance alongside a 40% faster NPU. In everyday use, that translates to seamless multitasking, smoother frame rates in demanding mobile games, and much better thermal management during long creative sessions.

When it comes to smart features, the S26 FE arrives with Android 17 and One UI 9 out of the box, introducing a updated suite of Galaxy AI tools like My FanCam, Now Nudge, and automated subject-tracking for video capture. While the S25 FE brought Generative Edit and Circle to Search to the table, the S26 FE refines on-device processing so photo edits, voice transcriptions, and AI suggestions feel nearly instantaneous. To sweeten the deal, the S26 FE also includes a 6-month trial of Google AI Pro, unlocking premium generative tools right out of the box.

On paper, both phones sport a versatile triple-camera layout featuring a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. However, the S26 FE’s upgraded Image Signal Processor (ISP) squeezes out cleaner low-light photos, richer dynamic range, and better video stabilization with Super Steady Horizon Lock. While battery capacity remains identical at 4,900 mAh with 45W fast charging support, the efficiency gains of the S26 FE’s 3nm processor mean you get noticeably longer battery life on a single charge compared to the S25 FE.

If you are upgrading from an older device like the S23 FE or entering the Samsung universe for the first time, the Galaxy S26 FE is a clear winner with its faster processor, boosted AI toolset, and head-turning new look. For current S25 FE owners, last year’s model still holds its ground remarkably well, though content creators, power users, and anyone obsessed with the new Pistachio finish will find plenty of reasons to love the upgrade.
