Equity Bank, one of Kenya’s top banks, has big news about its digital banking services. The bank has decided to retire its EazzyBanking App, which has been around for eight years since 2016. This move shows they’re changing things up in their digital banking and keeping up with new technology trends.

Equity Bank has picked March 15, 2024, as the day the EazzyBanking App will stop working. They’re asking all their customers to switch over to their new app, the Equity Mobile App.

The Equity Mobile App is a major upgrade. It’s easier to use and has cool new features like connecting with global money transfer services such as PayPal and Western Union. This makes it simpler for customers to do things like pay bills, check their balance, send money, and even get involved in international trade.

What’s great is that the Equity Mobile App works on both Android and iOS phones, so it’s available to lots of people. This shows Equity Bank’s commitment to making banking easier for everyone.

Getting rid of the EazzyBanking App fits into Equity Bank’s plan to become more digital-friendly. By bringing everything onto one platform, they’re aiming to work better, give customers a better experience, and stay competitive.

The EazzyBanking App was launched to make banking easier back in November 2016. But as technology moves fast, Equity Bank knows they have to keep up to meet their customers’ needs.
