Nairobi hosted the Kenya launch of Afnan Perfumes’ 9 PM Night Out on 18 April 2026 at Shamba Café, in an event hosted by Maven Luxury Ltd in collaboration with Afnan Perfumes.

Kenya was selected as one of the global launch destinations for the new fragrance, a move that is being positioned as further evidence of Nairobi’s growing importance in the luxury fragrance market.

The new scent, 9 PM Night Out, is described as a unisex Extrait de Parfum and the latest evolution of Afnan’s globally known 9 PM collection. The fragrance opens with notes of dragon fruit, bergamot, cognac, lavender and apple, develops into a heart of cardamom, mahonial, suede, toffee and cedar, and finishes with a base of tonka bean, akigalawood, ambrofix and patchouli. It is presented in a 100ml format.

The launch also highlighted Afnan’s broader international footprint. Founded in Dubai in 2007 by Imran Fazlani, the brand says it is now distributed in more than 120 markets and is known for collections including 9 AM / 9 PM, Supremacy, Turathi and the Highness Collection. The 9 PM line is a global phenomenon recognised for its bold character and longevity, and notes that actor Ed Westwick is the global brand ambassador for 9 PM Night Out.

For Maven Luxury Ltd, the Kenya launch was also a statement about the growth of East Africa’s premium fragrance sector. The company is East Africa’s foremost distributor and retailer of luxury and niche fragrances. It operates the Feel Nzuri Lounge at 153 Shanzu Road and the Feel Nzuri at Two Rivers Mall, Nairobi, and serves as the authorised distributor of Afnan Perfumes in Kenya.
