A Nairobi woman has become Sh1 million richer after emerging as the latest grand-prize winner in Kenya Wine Agencies Limited’s (KWAL) “Form Imejipa Na County” promotion.
Lilian Akoth secured the life-changing prize after purchasing a bottle of County Brandy, scratching the label panel and submitting the entry code.
She received her cheque this week as KWAL announced that the campaign had surpassed 300,000 winners and distributed more than Sh30 million in prizes since its launch in June 2026.
“Form Imejipa Na County is the first National Consumer Promotion KWAL has run for this brand, and the numbers tell their own story,” said Ivy Kiarie, KWAL’s Brand Manager for Brown Spirits.
“Over 300,000 Kenyans have won something through this campaign. That scale reflects how deeply County resonates with its consumers.”
Lilian was not the only winner celebrating.
Edwin Mulongo, Friday Mutua, Martha Guhe, Quinter Adhiambo, Nicholas Ndunda and Kennedy Ochieng received laptops, while Mary Mwangi walked away with a pool table.
Joseph Munah, James Mwangi, Eric Juma, Tabitha Akoth and Brian Okila were awarded new mobile phones.
The nationwide campaign has reached consumers in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret and other parts of the country through activations at entertainment establishments and markets.
It seeks to celebrate the resilience and entrepreneurial spirit of County consumers, whom the company describes as an important part of Kenya’s economic growth.
Participants stand a chance to win Sh1 million in a monthly grand draw. Other monthly prizes include pool tables, smartphones, laptops and content creator kits.
Weekly prizes include motorbikes, shopping vouchers and instant cash rewards of up to Sh10,000, while daily airtime prizes are available on participating bottles.
To enter, consumers aged 18 and above must purchase a 750ml or 250ml bottle of County Brandy, scratch the label panel and submit the code by dialling the toll-free USSD number 4599#.
KWAL said entries are limited per participant as part of measures to encourage responsible drinking.
County is among the brands in KWAL’s portfolio, alongside Heineken, Savanna, Hunter’s Choice, Kibao, Amarula, Viceroy and Nederburg Wines.
Alcohol is not for sale to persons under the age of 18. Drink responsibly.
