Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has unveiled fresh software updates for both the Galaxy Buds2 Pro and Samsung Smart TVs, revolutionizing audio encounters across a wider array of interconnected devices. These updates expand the reach of LE Audio capabilities to Samsung TVs using the innovative Auracast broadcast audio technology, enabling the transmission of intricate and immersive audio to nearby Bluetooth-enabled devices.

LE Audio, an advanced standard for Bluetooth audio, broadens the horizons of auditory experiences, providing not only richer and more intricate soundscapes for enhanced music enjoyment but also allowing users to share their auditory world with others as they personally perceive it. Samsung, renowned for its pioneering technology, has harnessed the power of LE Audio-based features that enhance auditory experiences. One such feature is the 360 Audio Recording, which empowers Galaxy smartphone users to capture sound in videos exactly as they hear it, without requiring specialized equipment. Furthermore, select Galaxy Book devices offer an impeccably clear audio experience, minimizing latency for an immersive gaming and multimedia engagement.

Adding another layer of innovation is the introduction of Auracast broadcast audio technology to the Galaxy Buds2 Pro and the 2023 Neo QLED 8K as well as 2023 MICRO LED Samsung TVs, scheduled to roll out via software updates starting this September. This move by Samsung once again elevates and extends interconnected experiences from mobile devices to home appliances. The Auracast feature transforms users’ devices into shared radio stations capable of broadcasting across various connected devices. Leveraging the potential of LE Audio, this technology enables users to link multiple sets of Buds to a TV, surpassing the previous limit of connecting only two devices. Auracast unlocks a multitude of potential applications, ranging from augmented or assistive listening in settings like theaters or lecture halls for improved auditory experiences to sharing playlists with friends while on a run, and even offering multilingual support without the need for translation devices by transmitting different language interpretations through distinct channels.

Samsung, known for its innovation in a diverse spectrum of electronic devices spanning smartphones, wearables, TVs, and home appliances, holds a distinctive position to enhance and seamlessly expand user experiences.

LE Audio exemplifies Samsung’s steadfast dedication to connected experiences across their entire array of devices, showcasing their commitment to introducing fresh capabilities and technologies that unify the user experience.

The newly introduced Auracast feature stands as a testament to Samsung’s prowess in interconnecting devices and services, providing users with novel and compelling experiences.
