Stanbic Bank, in partnership with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), has rolled out Ushuru Pay, a new digital solution designed to simplify the payment of customs taxes and levies. The system was launched in Nairobi and Mombasa, two of Kenya’s busiest trade hubs.

Ushuru Pay is fully integrated with KRA’s Integrated Customs Management System (iCMS), enabling faster processing, enhanced security, and a seamless, cashless experience for users. The platform is expected to reduce friction in transactions, improve efficiency in revenue collection, and strengthen Kenya’s position as a leader in global trade practices.
