After a week of use, I did not come away thinking that the POVA Curve 2 5G was trying to win solely through its processor, camera or brand name. Its identity is much clearer than that.
This is a phone built around endurance.
The camera hump contributes significantly to its premium appearance, but the defining feature remains the 8,000mAh battery. The fact that TECNO has placed it inside such a slim body makes the device more impressive than another handset simply advertising a large capacity.
At KES 59,999, it sits in a competitive part of the Kenyan smartphone market. Buyers at this price will naturally compare camera performance, software support and overall value across several brands.
But for someone whose first question is, “Will this phone last when I am away from a charger?”, the POVA Curve 2 5G presents a convincing answer.
