Zoho, a global technology company, announced today that it has partnered with KeNIC, a registry solely responsible for administering, managing and operating the .ke domains in Kenya. Under this partnership, Zoho will work with KeNIC to offer Zoho wallet credits worth KES 50,000 to anyone who has a .ke domain or is purchasing one either directly from KeNIC or through its registrars. Zoho will also provide training to enable customers of .ke domains to leverage cloud technology for rapid growth.

“The partnership is aimed to support Kenya’s move towards a digital-first economy by helping local businesses in their digital transformation efforts and promoting e-commerce. Through this collaboration, businesses will gain access to the tools they need to succeed online. Zoho’s comprehensive portfolio helps businesses kickstart their digital journey and quickly realise the benefits of automation, real-time access to business data, and streamlining processes across all departments on a unified platform. This initiative aligns with Zoho’s commitment to serve local communities as part of its transnational localism strategy of being locally rooted while staying globally connected,” said Veerakumar Natarajan, Country Head, Zoho Kenya.

The users of .ke domain will be able to utilise Zoho Wallet Credits to purchase any of Zoho’s 55+ products, including Zoho One, a unified platform of over 50 apps, and Zoho Workplace, a unified enterprise collaboration platform. All Zoho applications have been built on top of the same technology stack and can be easily integrated with each other, enabling a seamless flow of data between them. Furthermore, Zoho owns and operates its own data centres, providing it full oversight of customer data privacy and security. Zoho offers its products in local pricing, and the company will be hosting training sessions to help .ke domain users to optimally leverage its enterprise solutions to catapult their growth.
