Stanbic Bank Foundation Opens Certification Support for Women-led Green Businesses

The Stanbic Bank Foundation is calling on women entrepreneurs leading sustainable businesses in agriculture, renewable energy, and eco-tourism to apply for a unique support programme aimed at propelling their enterprises to new heights.

Through its Women-in-Green SMEs initiative, the Foundation is offering tailored support for International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and Digital Information Management Systems (DIMS) certification. These certifications are essential for businesses aiming to boost their credibility, improve operational standards, and access global markets.

To qualify, applicants must lead businesses that are at least 51 percent women-owned, meet the standard Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) criteria, and be formally registered. The certification support is designed to help such businesses strengthen their sustainability credentials and grow in competitive markets.

“This initiative reflects our commitment to empowering women-led businesses that are contributing to a greener and more inclusive economy,” said a representative of the Stanbic Bank Foundation.
