Anxiety is a normal and often healthy emotion. However, when a person regularly feels disproportionate levels of anxiety, it might become a medical disorder.

Anxiety is a feeling of fear, nervousness, or worry, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome. It can be a symptom of an underlying condition, such as a mood disorder, and can interfere with daily functioning.

Here are a few tips that might help you deal with anxiety at the workplace:

  1. Practice deep breathing or other relaxation techniques to calm your mind and body.
  2. Create a to-do list and prioritize tasks to help you feel more organized and in control.
  3. Exercise regularly to relieve stress and improve your overall well-being.
  4. Take regular breaks and step away from your work to stretch, meditate, or engage in a hobby.
  5. Communicate with your co-workers and seek support from friends and family.
  6. If your anxiety is persistent and affecting your work and personal life, consider speaking to a mental health professional.
  7. Create a healthy work-life balance by setting boundaries and taking time for yourself outside of work.

Remember that it’s okay to seek help and support and that taking care of your mental health is important.
