Talks focused on the progress of 24 ongoing projects in the country worth about 2.2 billion US dollars, with priority areas including transport, energy, and agriculture.

Bassolé reiterated the Bank’s commitment to strengthen its presence, accelerate project implementation, and enhance impact across the seven Central African countries under the regional office’s coverage.

The AfDB portfolio in Central Africa currently includes 130 operations valued at over 5 billion US dollars, of which Cameroon hosts 24 projects aligned with the country’s National Development Strategy 2030.
