Anzisha has officially released Season 3 of The Journey, its acclaimed YouTube documentary series that takes viewers behind the scenes of the entrepreneurial hustle across the African continent. The series offers an unfiltered lens into the lives of 30 very young entrepreneurs—aged between 15 and 22—who are navigating the highs and lows of building businesses in some of the world’s most dynamic and complex environments.

Following an impressive 1.13 million views in its previous season, The Journey returns with renewed vigour and deeper storytelling. Season 3 delves into the hurdles these young visionaries face, the strategic pivots they must make, and the defining leadership moments that shape their growth. The season culminates in a high-stakes pitch competition in Johannesburg, South Africa, where the most promising entrepreneurs will compete for four prizes totalling $40,000. It is a week that challenges participants to refine their ideas, validate two years of hard work, and win crucial support to scale their ventures.

“This season is more than just compelling storytelling—it is a powerful narrative of Africa’s next generation of business leaders,” said Didi Onwu, Managing Editor at Anzisha. “The Journey Season 3 showcases the dedication, innovation, and resilience of young entrepreneurs who are not just building businesses but transforming their communities.”

Spanning diverse sectors such as agriculture, technology, food processing, logistics, and personal care, the featured entrepreneurs hail from countries including Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Madagascar, Benin, Uganda, Zambia, Ghana, Egypt, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Senegal. Their businesses are not only commercially ambitious but also socially rooted—designed to address local challenges with sustainable and inclusive solutions.

Season 3 offers more than just insight into business development; it provides a rich narrative of what it takes to lead amid uncertainty. From navigating resource constraints to balancing innovation with sustainability, these young founders exemplify what it means to lead with purpose. Their stories reflect a deep commitment to creating ecosystems that generate value beyond profit.

Ultimately, The Journey is not just about entrepreneurship. It is about vision, grit, and the future of Africa’s enterprise landscape. It captures how young people are redefining leadership on the continent—leading with empathy, inclusivity, and a sharp eye on long-term impact.
