Members of Parliament affiliated to the Kenya Kwanza alliance are at State House for a parliamentary meeting hosted by President Dr William Ruto.
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is also in attendance as the alliance leadership deliberates on priority bills in Parliament as well as the constitution of key committees in the National Assembly.
The meeting comes a day after Parliament approved the nomination of 24 Cabinet Secretaries during its sitting Wednesday morning.
President Dr Ruto proceeded to gazette their appointment and is expected to witness their swearing into office after the parliamentary group meeting.
Already Defence CS Aden Duale, Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen and Water CS Alice Wahome have resigned as Members of Parliament following the approval by the National Assembly.
