Samsung Electronics East Africa has announced a bold vision for the future of living, unveiling its latest AI-driven innovations that transform the home into a dynamic, responsive environment. Under the banner “AI for All”, the company is redefining what it means to live in a connected world.

The Galaxy S26: The Conductor of the Smart Home

At the heart of this ecosystem is the newly launched Galaxy S26 series, Samsung’s most advanced AI-powered smartphone to date. More than a communication device, the Galaxy S26 acts as the central hub of the smart home through the SmartThings platform. With Truly Agentic AI, the phone anticipates user routines—cooling the living room before arrival or syncing seamlessly with appliances to ensure comfort and convenience.

Bespoke AI Appliances: From Assistants to Companions

Samsung’s Bespoke AI Family Hub refrigerator now doubles as a culinary advisor, identifying ingredients, tracking expiration dates, and suggesting recipes. These recipes sync directly with the Bespoke AI Oven, which preheats automatically to the required temperature.

In the laundry room, the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo uses advanced sensors to detect fabric weight and soil levels, optimizing water and detergent usage. Together, these appliances reduce the mental load of household chores, allowing users to focus on what truly matters.

Sustainability Meets Connectivity

Recognizing East Africa’s leadership in green energy adoption, Samsung has integrated AI Energy Mode into its ecosystem. Through real-time monitoring on Galaxy devices, users can reduce energy consumption and utility costs without compromising performance.

Security and Open Ecosystem

Samsung emphasized its commitment to an Open Ecosystem, supporting global standards like Matter to ensure compatibility across devices. To safeguard user data, every device is protected by Samsung Knox, delivering world-class security for connected homes.

A Vision for the Future

“As technology redraws the boundaries of our daily lives, the definition of home is being reimagined,” said Samsung Electronics East Africa. “We are moving beyond smart appliances into the age of Home Companions, where AI doesn’t just assist—it anticipates.”

With this launch, Samsung positions itself at the forefront of East Africa’s digital transformation, blending innovation, sustainability, and security into a seamless AI-powered lifestyle.
