SGA Security reinforced its commitment to environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility by sponsoring car number 7 during the 37th edition of the Rhino Charge.
The continued partnership reflects the company’s sustained investment in conservation-driven initiatives that contribute to climate resilience, ecosystem protection and community wellbeing.
“Sustainability is embedded in how we define our role as responsible corporate citizens. Our continued support to Rhino Charge reflects our commitment to conservation efforts that deliver long-term environmental and community impact,” said SGA Security Chairman & CEO Jules Delahaije.
Rhino Charge, organised in support of the Rhino Ark Kenya Charitable Trust, raises critical funds for the protection of Kenya’s key water towers and forest ecosystems, including Mt. Kenya, the Aberdare Range, Mt. Eburu, the Southwestern Mau and Kakamega Forest. Over the years, funds raised have supported the construction of electric fences that help reduce human-wildlife conflict while protecting biodiversity and improving coexistence between communities and wildlife.
SGA Security’s CSR framework focuses on five key pillars: environment, health and safety, security, education and sports, with environmental conservation, where Rhino Charge sponsorship falls under, remaining a central priority.
Beyond its participation in the Rhino Charge, SGA Security’s continued efforts on sustainability efforts continues to earn international recognition. Earlier in the year, the company received the International Code of Conduct Association (ICoCA) award, reflecting its adherence to high standards in responsible security operations, human rights compliance and ethical business conduct.
Through its continued presence in Rhino Charge, SGA Security reinforces the growing role of private sector actors in advancing conservation financing and supporting Kenya’s broader environmental sustainability agenda.
