SGA Security, one of East Africa’s biggest security firms, has received a new three-year recertification from the International Code of Conduct Association (ICoCA). This means the company continues to meet international standards for providing ethical, professional, and human rights–respecting security services.
The certification shows that SGA runs its business responsibly and treats both its staff and clients with respect. It also confirms that the company operates in line with global rules that demand honesty, accountability, and fairness in private security work.
SGA Security has been in operation for over 55 years and employs more than 19,000 people across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. The company offers security services to governments, businesses, embassies, and individuals across the region.
Speaking about the award, SGA Group CEO and Chairman Jules Delahaije said the recognition was proof of the company’s dedication to high ethical standards.
“This ICoCA recertification confirms our commitment to responsible and trustworthy security services that respect human rights,” he said.
SGA joined ICoCA because of its strong values of quality, discipline, loyalty, and integrity. The company also holds ISO 18788 certification, which is the highest international standard for managing security operations.
Over the years, SGA Security has continued to adapt to new security challenges while staying focused on providing affordable, world-class, and responsible services. The latest certification strengthens its position as a trusted security leader in Africa.
