TCL Electronics, a global leader in consumer electronics and the world’s number one Mini LED TV brand, has once again reaffirmed its dominance in the home entertainment space with the launch of the new TCL C8K QD-Mini LED TV in Kenya.

The unveiling of the C8K follows the successful rollout of the C7K Series earlier this year, a move that underscores TCL’s commitment to delivering superior technology and premium viewing experiences to Kenyan consumers.

Speaking during the launch,  Mr. Alvin Wang, TCL East Africa Director, said the new range symbolizes the company’s relentless pursuit of innovation and excellence in entertainment technology. “The launch of the C8K in Kenya is a testament to TCL’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in home entertainment. We aim to deliver products that blend elegant design, powerful performance, and immersive experiences that truly resonate with our consumers,” he said.

The TCL C8K represents a new era of visual excellence, introducing the world’s first fourth-generation Zero Border QD-Mini LED design that achieves a true borderless viewing experience. It is powered by TCL’s Skywork architecture, featuring up to 3,840 local dimming zones and HDR brightness levels of 5,000 nits, ensuring exceptional contrast, depth, and brilliance.

The CrystGlow WHVA Panel enhances color accuracy by 40%, minimizes reflections, and maintains sharp visuals from any angle. At its core, the TSR AiPQ Processor employs advanced AI-driven optimization for lifelike images, while a 144Hz refresh rate ensures ultra-smooth motion ideal for sports fans and gamers alike.

Earlier in the year, the company launched the TCL C7K Series, which continues to make waves in the Kenyan market for its impressive picture performance and elegant design.

The C7K is equipped with up to 2,880 local dimming zones, HDR brightness of 3,000 nits, and TCL’s All-Domain Halo Control Technology, which combine to produce vivid, lifelike images with stunning clarity. Its CrystGlow HVA Panel offers a 178-degree viewing angle and a native contrast ratio of 7000:1, all wrapped in a sleek, ultra-slim unibody design under 60mm thick.

Both the C8K and C7K models feature high-end sound systems tuned by industry leaders Bang & Olufsen and ONKYO. They integrate BeoSonic™ sound personalization, Golden Ear tuning, and Hi-End speakers to deliver rich, immersive audio that completes the cinematic experience.

The TCL C8K and C7K QD-Mini LED TVs are now available in leading retail stores across Kenya. With these latest innovations, TCL continues to set new standards in home entertainment, merging cutting-edge design, advanced technology, and exceptional performance to create the ultimate viewing experience.
