Mantrac proudly celebrated eleven Kenyan winners of the CAT Excavators Campaign with a unique experience in Málaga, Spain, marking Caterpillar’s centennial and reinforcing Mantrac’s commitment to investing in customer development across its African markets. The Málaga visit formed part of a Mantrac Group campaign designed to recognise loyal customers who qualified through their purchase of eligible CAT excavator models. Travelling alongside participants from multiple Mantrac territories, the Kenyan winners joined a programme provided from Mantrac to deepen customer knowledge, strengthen partnerships and provide firsthand exposure to the technologies that support their operations.

The visit began with a warm welcome at the Gran Hotel Miramar, followed by a guided exploration of Málaga’s culture and atmosphere arranged by the Mantrac team. The main technical agenda was delivered at the Caterpillar Málaga Machine Learning and Demonstration Centre, where customers attended opening remarks, a safety briefing and a session reflecting on one hundred years of Caterpillar innovation. Throughout the day, they explored product and technology insights across excavators, earthmoving equipment, VisionLink and paving solutions before joining the Mantrac and Caterpillar teams for an in depth walkaround of demo machines.

The highlight of the experience was the live CAT Big Push Show, where customers witnessed the strength and capability of CAT equipment in a real demo environment, creating a memorable moment shared with the Mantrac delegation.

Mohamed Ibrahim, Managing Director of Mantrac Kenya, commented: “This experience gave our customers a closer understanding of the innovation and value behind CAT equipment. It was a great opportunity to engage with Caterpillar experts; see the machines in action and reinforce the strong partnerships we have built in Kenya. We remain committed to supporting our customers with reliable solutions and a partnership focused on long term success.”

The Málaga journey was the culmination of a Mantrac Group campaign spanning several African markets, celebrating sixty nine customers who qualified for the offer and recognising the trust they continue to place in Mantrac as their long term partner.
