Nairobi Burger Week, the city’s largest burger celebration, officially launched today, bringing together more than 400 restaurants for ten days of burger celebration, dining experiences and restaurant discovery across Nairobi from 27th August to 6th September 2026.

The campaign gives Nairobians an opportunity to explore the city’s diverse food scene through one of its most loved foods. Participating restaurants will offer special burger experiences throughout the campaign, giving diners a chance to try new restaurants, revisit favourites and discover hidden gems across the city.

Nairobi Burger Week comes at a time when the way people discover food is changing. Recommendations from friends, food creators and online communities increasingly influence where Nairobians eat, with conversations around hidden gems and new dining spots becoming part of the city’s food culture.

“Food is increasingly becoming one of the ways people discover and experience Nairobi. We see people constantly sharing where they have eaten, recommending hidden gems and encouraging others to try new places,” said Wendy Lorenze, General Manager, Eat Out Kenya. “Burger Week brings that spirit of discovery into one shared experience, giving people a reason to explore restaurants they may not have visited before while celebrating the diversity of Nairobi’s food scene.”

Throughout the 10-day experience, consumers can discover participating restaurants and their Burger Week offers through the Eat Out website and Eat Out Instagram page. The campaign will also feature different restaurant experiences across the more than 400 participating restaurants.

The 2026 edition is supported by partners from across the food, beverage, mobility, delivery and payments sectors, whose involvement helps bring the experience to life across participating venues. Cheese Love and Kenafric (Kingsmill) are providing participating kitchens with exclusive promotional pricing on premium ingredients, while Clique is supporting venues with more than 700 discounted products to help streamline their operations.

EABL joins Nairobi Burger Week as the official beverage partner, bringing draught beer pairings designed to complement signature burgers across participating venues. On the delivery side, Uber Eats and Glovo are powering the festivals on demand experience with exclusive consumer discounts and free delivery promotions for consumers enjoying Burger Week at home. Uber is also supporting mobility during the festival, offering guests up to 50% off rides to and from participating restaurant locations.

For diners paying at participating locations, Safaricom M-PESA is offering instant Airtime Rewards, adding another benefit to the Burger Week experience. Coca-Cola also joins the 2026 edition as the official beverage partner, further supporting the celebration across Nairobi’s food and hospitality ecosystem.

Whether it is discovering a new neighbourhood spot, trying a different take on a classic burger or finally visiting the restaurant everyone has been talking about, Nairobi Burger Week is an invitation to explore more of the city’s food scene, one burger at a time.
