Organised by BNI Nairobi South, the expo is expected to bring together businesses from sectors including technology, finance, manufacturing, property, professional services and trade.

According to the organisers, the forum is designed to help businesses unlock growth through referrals, partnerships, innovation and investment opportunities.

Speaking ahead of the event, BNI Nairobi South Executive Director Perminus Kariuki said the expo will provide a platform for business leaders to connect and build partnerships that translate into measurable commercial value.

“Business growth today is increasingly driven by referrals, collaboration and strategic partnerships. The BNI Nairobi South Business & Innovation Expo is designed to create an environment where decision-makers can meet, exchange ideas, learn, discover opportunities and build relationships that generate real business value, both nationally and regionally,” Kariuki stated.

The day-long event will feature more than 40 exhibitors showcasing products, services and innovations across key sectors of the economy.

Participants will also have access to keynote addresses, expert panel discussions, live demonstrations, product launches, networking sessions and business matchmaking opportunities.

One of the key highlights will be a panel discussion featuring industry leaders who will share insights on how businesses can turn professional relationships into revenue-generating opportunities.

BNI Nairobi South Executive Director Antony Njenga noted that the expo will focus on practical business outcomes, especially at a time when companies are navigating a tough economic environment.

“The aim of this expo is to deliver real business outcomes; hence this year’s theme being centred around leveraging referrals for business acceleration, innovation for navigating emerging market trends and leadership to foster trust,” Njenga said.

The organisers further noted that referral-based networking continues to play a growing role in business expansion.

According to BNI Global, members generated more than USD 21.3 billion in business revenue through referrals in 2024, underlining the importance of trust-based business networks.

The Nairobi expo is also expected to strengthen Kenya’s position as a regional hub for entrepreneurship, investment and business collaboration.

The programme will include a networking breakfast, keynote presentations, industry panel discussions, innovation showcases, exhibitor engagements, business networking sessions and an exclusive evening cocktail reception.

The event targets business owners, corporate executives, investors, startups, SMEs, consultants, financial institutions and other industry stakeholders looking to expand their networks and explore new growth opportunities.

BNI, founded in 1985 by Dr Ivan Misner in the United States, is one of the world’s largest business networking and referral organisations. It currently has more than 327,000 members across 76 countries.
