Ngemi returns this May with a new expression of what the platform has been building, a cultural season designed to hold space for different generations, in ways that feel intentional, elevated and true.

This May introduces a two-part experience.

The season begins on Saturday, 16th May 2026 with Ngemi ~ Seniors Edition, followed by Ngemi 6.0 on Saturday, 30th May 2026 in Limuru.

A NEW CHAPTER: NGEMI ~ SENIORS EDITION

The introduction of Ngemi Seniors marks a shift in how the platform is evolving.

For a long time, Ngemi has grown as a space of cultural expression, but in that growth, there has been a generation that has quietly remained on the outside looking in.

Ngemi Seniors is a deliberate response to that.

Not as an extension, but as its own experience.

A more intentional, refined environment, shaped around comfort, pace and connection.

“This is something we are doing very intentionally,” said Njoki, Founder of Ngemi.
“The Ngemi Seniors experience is about recognising and creating space for a generation that has always been part of this culture but has rarely had experiences designed specifically for them. It is our way of saying we see you, and we remember you.”

The experience will bring together music, food, art and cultural expression in a way that feels grounded, considered and elevated, a space to gather, reconnect and enjoy culture at its own pace.

NGEMI 6.0 — THE FLAGSHIP EXPERIENCE

On 30th May 2026, Ngemi returns with its flagship experience.

Ngemi 6.0 continues the energy, scale and cultural expression the platform has become known for, bringing together music, food, art and community in a vibrant, immersive environment.

“Ngemi 6.0 builds on what we’ve been creating over the past five editions, a space where culture is not just remembered, but lived and expressed in real time,” Njoki added.

The May season reflects Ngemi’s vision of culture as something that moves across generations, evolving, expanding and finding new forms of expression.

Tickets for both experiences are now available via the Little Ticketing platform, with full details accessible on Ngemi’s official social media platforms.
