A police officer from Tembelio Police Post in Ainabkoi Sub-county, Uasin Gishu County, has been arrested after allegedly shooting and killing his girlfriend and another man in what appears to be a love triangle.

According to Uasin Gishu County Police Commander Benjamin Mwanthi, the incident happened around midnight at Kokwet Bar, a local pub in the Jua Kali area of Turbo. The bar is said to be owned by the female victim.

Commander Mwanthi explained that the officer confronted his girlfriend over suspicions of infidelity. When the other man tried to step in and calm things down, the officer allegedly pulled out his gun and fatally shot both of them.
