Following the launch of its Family Share plan in Nairobi last week, Safaricom has today expanded the offering to Home Fibre customers in Kisumu, marking the first phase of the nationwide rollout.

The regional rollout was launched at Lolwe Estate, Kisumu County, bringing together fixed and mobile connectivity under one proposition to enhance the Home Fibre experience. The offering enables families to enjoy seamless connectivity both at home and on the go, while getting more value and convenience from their Safaricom subscriptions.

“We officially rolled out our Family Share plan to Home Fibre customers last week, and today, we are delighted to be in Kisumu as we extend the offering to customers in the region. Through Family Share, we are giving our customers more value, greater convenience and flexibility by bringing together fixed and mobile connectivity in one proposition. Our goal is to ensure families stay seamlessly connected, whether at home or on the go,” said Fawzia Ali, Chief Consumer Business Officer, Safaricom.

The plan allows new and existing Safaricom Home Fibre customers to connect up to five family members and share mobile data or voice minutes. By combining Home Fibre with mobile voice, data and SMS benefits, Family Share provides households with a more integrated connectivity experience and the convenience of managing their services through a single bill.

The offering further strengthens Safaricom Home’s customer value proposition, building on recent speed upgrades at no additional cost while bringing fixed and mobile connectivity together. This gives households greater flexibility in managing their communication needs and makes connectivity expenses more predictable.

Starting at KES 3,749, customers can enjoy speeds of 40 Mbps and share either 750 voice minutes or 14GB of mobile data with up to five family members.

Customers can subscribe to Home Fibre or 4G and 5G Wi-Fi plans through My OneApp, by dialling *400#, or by visiting any Safaricom shop or authorised dealer outlet.
