Safaricom has embarked on a nationwide initiative aimed at fostering meaningful connections and networking opportunities for its customers through Safire Connect forums. The inaugural session of this engaging series kicked off in Embu, marking the beginning of an extensive journey across the country to empower and inspire Safaricom users.

Safire Connect is more than just a networking event; it’s a platform designed to ignite the ambitions of Safaricom customers, connecting them with opportunities and resources to advance in their endeavors. Fawzia Ali-Kimanthi, Chief Consumer Business Officer at Safaricom PLC, expressed the company’s dedication to enriching lives through meaningful connections. “At Safaricom, we are passionately committed to our mission of enriching lives through meaningful connections. Our vision extends beyond just connectivity; it’s about linking individuals to one another, to avenues of opportunity, and to a wealth of knowledge,” she stated.

The Safire Connect forums will feature dynamic and immersive experiences, including interactive workshops, themed discussions, and showcases, all aimed at fostering genuine connections and inspiring collective growth. Key topics on the agenda include harnessing the power of technology in agriculture, the importance of personal branding and social presence, and effective personal financial management.

Partnering with Safaricom for the Embu chapter are esteemed organizations such as Centonomy, ZOHO, Sidai, and KALPRO, each bringing valuable expertise to the table. Centonomy specializes in financial literacy, ZOHO offers cloud-based business and productivity tools, Sidai provides agricultural inputs and training, and KALPRO excels in the supply chain for grain-based distilleries and warehousing.

The launch in Embu marks the beginning of a journey that will see Safire Connect forums traverse the Coast, Greater Western, Rift Valley, and Nairobi regions, reaching customers across the nation. With each session, Safaricom aims to empower its customers, enriching their lives and fostering a sense of community and opportunity in every corner of Kenya.
