Key Benefits for Stanbic’s Affluent Clients

The Stanbic World Card and Stanbic World Elite Card each offer distinct advantages tailored for high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs):

  • Stanbic World Card: This premium card provides access to global experiences, including VIP airport lounges, luxury car rentals, and exclusive rewards programs. Clients enjoy complimentary travel insurance, priority hotel bookings, and discounts at leading outlets like Carrefour, Glovo, and Jumia.
  • Stanbic World Elite Card: The first metallic credit card in East Africa, the World Elite Card provides elevated spending limits and exclusive privileges. Benefits include access to premium events, dining offers, curated travel experiences, and 24/7 dedicated support.

According to Shehryar Ali, Mastercard’s Senior Vice President & Country Manager for East Africa and Indian Ocean Islands, this collaboration aligns with Mastercard’s goal of crafting luxurious banking solutions that blend comfort with exclusivity. “Our partnership with Stanbic Bank delivers a premier experience for cardholders, immersing them in unparalleled luxury and elegance,” he added.

Unique Perks and Premium Experiences

Beyond enhanced financial flexibility, cardholders benefit from diverse privileges under the Mastercard program, such as:

  • Global Access: Mastercard Travel Pass allows entry to exclusive airport lounges worldwide, along with priority access to golf bookings, with up to 30% discounts at over 800 clubs globally, including Kenya.
  • Educational Support: Eligible clients can access Unicaf scholarships, offering up to 75% tuition reduction.
  • Concierge Services: A dedicated 24/7 concierge service ensures clients have reliable support whenever they need it.
  • Enhanced Security: Both cards employ the latest contactless payment technology and robust fraud protection.

Stanbic Bank’s Affluent Proposition

The new cards highlight Stanbic’s dedication to a high-value banking experience, centered around four key pillars:

  1. Bank Easily: Providing seamless access through digital platforms and dedicated relationship managers.
  2. Invest Skilfully: Expert investment guidance for maximizing returns and managing risks.
  3. Plan Wisely: Comprehensive wealth planning, from estate strategies to retirement preparation.
  4. Live Joyfully: Enhanced quality of life through exclusive lifestyle privileges, premium travel, and curated events.

The introduction of the Stanbic World and World Elite Cards reinforces Stanbic Bank Kenya’s commitment to delivering exclusive solutions for affluent clients, and the bank’s recent accolade as Kenya’s No. 1 Private Bank by Global Finance underscores its market leadership.

Through this strategic collaboration, Stanbic Bank and Mastercard aim to redefine premium banking, offering clients in Kenya and across the region a distinctive, luxury-oriented banking experience.
