Group Chief Executive Sim Tshabalala said the recognition underscores the sustained trust the bank continues to receive from its clients and partners.

“Being named Africa’s most valuable banking brand for five consecutive years is a milestone we do not take lightly. It reflects the confidence our clients, partners and communities continue to place in us,” he said.

Chief Operating Officer Margaret Nienaber attributed the group’s longevity to strong partnerships and enduring customer confidence.

“Our brand is ultimately about people and impact. We remain deeply grateful to our employees and clients for their continued trust in our capabilities,” she said.

In Kenya, Abraham Ongenge noted that the lender is leveraging the group’s extensive network to deliver value to customers.

“We are proud to be part of a brand that is playing a key role in driving Africa’s growth,” he said.

The recognition adds to a growing list of global accolades, including rankings by Forbes, TIME Magazine and Newsweek among the world’s leading companies.
