Visa and M-Pesa brought together customers, partners and football enthusiasts for the “Game Iko On” Semi-Final Watch Party, celebrating their collaboration to make global digital payments simpler, safer and more accessible for Kenyans through the M-Pesa GlobalPay Virtual Visa Card.

The M-Pesa GlobalPay Virtual Visa Card, developed through the collaboration between Visa and Safaricom, enables customers to make secure international online payments directly from their M-Pesa wallet, backed by Visa’s global network. Through the “Game Iko On” campaign, the collaboration has leveraged the excitement of football to showcase the convenience, security and accessibility of digital payments while rewarding customers throughout the football season.

Over the past several weeks, the Game Iko On campaign has engaged thousands of consumers through on-ground activations across malls in Nairobi, educating customers on the benefits and ease of using the M-Pesa GlobalPay Virtual Visa Card.
