Speaking at the launch, Mr. Cyrus Mathenge, Head of Store Operations at Naivas, said:
“Our focus is always on the customer. Naivas Ruaka brings our commitment to value, quality, convenience, and efficient service to life while creating jobs and supporting the local economy.”

The supermarket’s growth continues to rely on close collaboration with local manufacturers and suppliers, strengthening Kenya’s local supply chains. Mr. Javin Hutchinson, CEO of Bake Easy, welcomed the new store as a significant opportunity for shared growth.
“Naivas believes in partnership. Their expansion, including Naivas Ruaka, allows Kenyan-made products to reach more households and supports local businesses,” he said.

Beyond serving the Ruaka community, the new store contributes to employment creation and supports small and medium enterprises through Naivas’ supplier ecosystem.

With Naivas Ruaka, the retailer continues to cement its position as a leading supermarket chain in Kenya, delivering quality, variety, and accessibility to households across the country.
