Galaxy Mobile, in collaboration with Samsung Electronics East Africa Limited, today announced the grand opening of a new Brand Store at Shujaa Mall in Kilimani, Nairobi. This move underscores Samsung’s dedication to broadening its footprint in East Africa and provides consumers with direct access to the latest innovations in mobile devices and consumer electronics.
The Shujaa Mall Brand Store builds on the success of previously established Brand Stores in the region, such as Jaicom in Nairobi and Trans Tell in Kampala. This new location exemplifies Samsung’s vision of connected living, showcasing seamless integration across its Internet-of-Things (IoT) ecosystem.
Customers visiting the store will be able to explore a wide range of Samsung products, including mobile devices, televisions, sound systems, and home appliances. The store demonstrates how these products work together to create a unified, smart ecosystem. From linking smartphones to the latest Neo QLED TVs for an immersive viewing experience to integrating soundbars and home appliances for enhanced convenience, the store offers a comprehensive view of Samsung’s connected lifestyle.
“Samsung’s strategy is to deepen market penetration by seamlessly integrating our cutting-edge products into the hands of consumers. It underscores our unwavering belief in technology’s transformative power,” said Anthony Hutia, Head of the Mobile Experience Division at Samsung Electronics East Africa. “Our mission is to empower customers with technology that not only simplifies their lives but also enriches and inspires them toward greater possibilities.”
Reflecting Samsung’s global vision, the new Brand Store is designed to offer a “connected space” for consumers, providing personalised support and a hands-on experience with Samsung’s diverse product range. This approach aligns with the brand’s successful Experience Stores in other regions, such as Singapore, where the shopping experience has been redefined.
To mark the grand opening, Galaxy Mobile is offering an exclusive promotion: customers who spend over $200 will receive a complimentary Galaxy Fit3, a wearable fitness tracker that integrates seamlessly with Samsung devices to support users’ health and wellness goals.
The launch of this new store comes on the heels of Samsung’s recent introduction of the premium sixth-generation Flip and Fold phones, as well as the 2024 Neo QLED TVs and soundbar series. This expansion not only reinforces Samsung’s leadership in the Kenyan market but also highlights the brand’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, bringing cutting-edge technology directly to local communities.
