Speaking during the ground-breaking ceremony, Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital CEO, Dr. Robert Nyarango expressed that this new wing will vastly improve the hospital’s ability to continue its legacy of world-class quality care and will meet the needs of local and international clientele.

“This project reflects our commitment to expanding specialized paediatric care. The generosity of Dr. Kantaria underscores that providing high-quality healthcare requires collective effort. The new wing will enable us to treat more children in an environment that prioritizes safety, comfort for patients and caregivers, and clinical excellence,” said Dr. Nyarango.

On his part, Dr. Rasik Kantaria emphasized the long-term benefits of the project stating: “Children are the architects of our future. Providing them with access to quality healthcare is not only a necessity but also one of the most impactful investments we can pursue. We take great pride in being part of this initiative alongside an organization that possesses a longstanding reputation for excellence in the field of paediatric healthcare.”

Dr. Nyarango concluded by stating: “The unwavering support from Dr. Kantaria serves as a powerful reminder of the essential role that investment in healthcare infrastructure plays, particularly for protecting and nurturing our nation’s children.”
