Naivas Supermarkets has launched a new brand campaign, Naivas Ni Kwetu, celebrating the customers, employees, farmers, suppliers and communities that have supported the retailer’s growth over the past 36 years.

The campaign was officially unveiled at Greenspan Mall in Nairobi and positions Naivas as a proudly Kenyan business built on relationships that connect farmers to families, small businesses to households and employees to customers.

Naivas said the campaign reflects its commitment to remaining closely connected to the communities it serves while delivering fresh products, quality, choice and value to shoppers.

The retailer currently operates more than 110 stores across Kenya, bringing its products and services closer to communities where people live, work and raise their families.

Beyond the shopping experience, the campaign highlights the role played by farmers, manufacturers, artisans, entrepreneurs, distributors and employees in supporting Naivas’ operations and serving customers across the country.

According to the retailer, strengthening these partnerships contributes to the growth of local enterprises, employment creation and the wider Kenyan economy.

The launch was held alongside the Naivas Family Fun Day, which brought together customers, employees and their families for entertainment and community engagement.

A Supplier Showcase was also held to recognise the businesses that work with Naivas to provide fresh products, variety and value to customers. The retailer said its supplier partnerships continue to support Kenyan producers, manufacturers and small and medium-sized enterprises.

Speaking during the launch, Naivas Chief Commercial Officer Jorsen Patten said the campaign represented the people and partnerships at the centre of the company’s growth.

“Naivas Ni Kwetu reflects the heart of our business. It is a celebration of the people who have built this company together — our customers, employees, farmers, suppliers and communities,” Patten said.

He added that the company was committed to continuing to serve Kenyan families while strengthening the partnerships that have supported its journey over the past 36 years.

Naivas said it would continue investing in Kenyan communities, supporting local enterprise and creating experiences that bring people together.

The retailer described Naivas Ni Kwetu as a celebration of belonging, partnership and Kenya, and an affirmation of its ambition to continue growing alongside the communities it serves.
