Bolt, the leading on-demand mobility platform, has today hosted the third edition of “Drive for a Prize” campaign to celebrate and reward top-performing driver partners on the platform. The event, held in partnership with various partners underscores Bolt’s commitment to driver empowerment and recognition, while strengthening engagement within its driver community.

Dimmy Kanyankole, General Manager Rides, Kenya said: “Drivers on our platform are more than just partners; they are at the core of our business and the communities we serve. Their resilience, dedication, and service excellence make mobility seamless for thousands of Kenyans every day. With ‘Drive for a Prize,’ we are not only celebrating their success but also affirming our ongoing commitment to support, empower, and reward the people who make Bolt possible.”

The highlight of the event was the recognition of top drivers across various categories, with prizes ranging from travel experiences courtesy of ViuTravel to exclusive fuel vouchers from Total Kenya, among other prizes.

One of the top winners, Evans Mutwol, who won a family trip and car accessories, expressed his gratitude: “I never imagined that my hard work would be celebrated this way. Driving with Bolt has given me the flexibility to provide for my family, and today’s recognition shows that Bolt truly values its drivers. Winning this prize motivates me to keep giving my best to riders every day.”

Another award recipient, Serah Njoki Esther added: “This award means so much to me because it shows that consistency and commitment don’t go unnoticed. It’s not just about the prize, but the respect and appreciation we feel as drivers. Thank you to Bolt and the partners for standing with us.”

Through this rewards campaign Bolt continues to create tangible benefits for drivers while reinforcing its leadership in driver-centric initiatives. Over the years, Bolt has introduced various driver welfare initiatives, from financial literacy and health access to community building and entrepreneurial support. Bolt continues to provide general driver safety and wellbeing initiatives, and creates a platform that truly values the people who keep us moving.

The “Drive for a Prize” program forms part of Bolt’s broader driver rewards strategy to not only improve driver earnings and welfare but also cultivate a thriving driver community across Kenya.
